IAMFI has convened the Microfinance Interest Rate Country Survey. This report will place microfinance into the local market rate environment for several countries, thereby contributing positively to the recent global discussion on this important issue.
The International Association of Microfinance Investors (IAMFI) is a global membership organization dedicated to serving current and potential microfinance investors. Microfinance provides low-income households and enterprises access to capital and other financial services such as savings, insurance and remittances.
IAMFI helps commercially oriented microfinance investors achieve their goals for financial and social returns by offering credible, objective industry information, conducting research and hosting educational and networking events. In addition, IAMFI facilitates dialogue among industry leaders to develop best practices and tools that improve the global environment for microfinance investing.
